Aviary!!!
My name is Tony and I my hobby is breeding the Lady Gouldian
Finches. We breed most mutations of these beautiful finches: normals, yellow back and blue back. Pastels and silvers
are sometimes available for sale. All of our babies are parent raised, which I strongly feel will make them better parents.
Raising happy healthy birds is our main goal.
We are located in Richardson, Texas, about 20 minutes from Dallas. I first
started breeding these finches with my brother about 10 years ago. Once I started college I no longer had the time to take
care of these beauties. Several years ago I started having the "gouldian fever"... again! After doing some research
since I've been away for awhile, I went out and bought three pairs. That's how it all started again. With patience and luck
we're fortunate to be able to produce healthy babies. Of course there were frustrating moments along the way but it has help
me understand them better.
This season I'm going to concentrate more on the blue backs. They have always been my favorite!
